Text ads

Run text ads that have the look and feel of your site.

Text ads are really easy to run on your site. They’re one of the simplest, and most effective, forms of online advertising. Simply paste the snippet of HTML code we provide you with into the code of your page—and you’ll be off and running.

Highly customizable

AdBrite lets you customize the look and feel of text ads to fit your site – they’ll fit right into your site.

One choice is to select a zone that can run either text or banner ads, depending on which will yield a higher revenue:

Customize your IAB zone

You can also choose to run only text ads, specifying the number you wish to display and their basic design:

Customize your IAB text only zone Pricing: cost-per-click (CPC)

You can earn when a user clicks on the ad(CPC), or you can earn on how many people view the page on which the ad is located (CPM). Place your ad zone prominently to maximize your revenue.

Banner ads

A high-yield format that gives your site a professional look and feel.

Banner ads are a fundamental unit of online advertising—top advertisers use this high-impact medium to communicate about their brand. Because more users click on them and pay attention to them, banners typically command premium prices.

AdBrite supports five IAB-standard graphical ad dimensions:

  • Banner (468x60)
  • Leaderboard (728x90)
  • Medium rectangle (300x250)
  • Skyscraper (120x600)
  • Wide skyscraper (160x600)

When the marketplace has no banner available for your zone, text ads may be displayed.

Rich Media ads

Leverage the power of premium interactive ad formats.

AdBrite is currently offering Rich Media advertising to a select group of advertisers and publishers.

Contact your AdBrite publisher sales representative or email pubsales@adbrite.com to find out if your site is eligible.

AdBrite has partnered with the industry’s leading rich media developers—including Pointroll, EyeBlaster, EyeWonder and DoubleClick—to offer these new interactive ad formats throughout our marketplace. The most commonly-used rich media ads are in-page ads, expandable ads, and floating ads. Although their exact ad format names vary by vendor they function in the same way.

Implementation

Publishers can get started running rich media ads in three easy steps:

  1. Create and upload your AdBrite HTML snippet for rich media. Rich media ad formats are offered in standard IAB sizes. During this invitation-only period, you’ll need to get AdBrite rich media code from your publisher sales representative.
  2. Create and upload rich media vendors’ HTML snippets. You’ll need to have rich media code snippets on each page running rich media ads, including domain and sub-domain pages. For example, ads running on all pages of “mysite.com” should also have code on “solutions.mysite.com”. Click on the vendor name below to download the HTML code and placement guidelines for your web site. If you are already publishing rich media ads from one or more of these vendors, downloading the vendor file is not necessary.

  3. Aim high to maximize revenue! Choosing a prominent ad placement and setting the right auction floor will have a big impact on your earnings. Visit our Publishers Guide to see which zones/placements are most successful in the industry.
Pricing:

Rich Media Ads are priced on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) or CPC (cost per click) basis. Ad placement, site/page traffic and your reserve pricing all affect the amount of revenue you can earn from rich media ads.

Contact your AdBrite publisher sales representative or email pubsales@adbrite.com to find out if your site is eligible to run rich media ads.

AdBrite’s unique Full Page Ad format allows you to earn the highest CPM (cost per thousand impressions) in our marketplace, running ads from some of our top advertisers. Best of all, Full Page Ads won’t take up an inch of your site real estate.

Get up and running quickly

Simply insert a snippet of AdBrite code into the top section of the page where you want the Full Page Ad to fire. A Full Page Ad will appear, preceded by a message that the advertiser is sponsoring your site.

Smooth user experience

A prominent "Skip This Ad" button allows users to return to viewing your site quickly and easily at any time. You can also set how many clicks a user has to make on your site before being prompted to view the ad. The fewer clicks, the higher your revenue; enabling more clicks may enhance the user experience.

Pricing: cost-per-view (CPV)

You’ll earn each time the Full Page Ad is viewed.

  4. Use our instant BritePic code generator, inputting the image URL from Step 3.
  5. Copy the code snippet and paste into your web page.

Inline ads

Embed interactive text ads in your site content.

The Inline ads format allows you to display an ad only when a user scrolls over a given word—saving you a lot of space.

Inline ads action

Let’s say you have a website containing the word cars. Scroll over it to see the text ad that pops up. Double underlining allows you to differentiate these words from regular underlining. Up to 8 words that you already have on your site will be highlighted—and you can specify any area where you don’t want Inline ads.
